My boyfriend and I were moving into a new apartment and needed to buy our first-ever bed. We didn't have much budget for a fancy new mattress so after reading the reviews on here, we decided to try this inexpensive bed. I was a bit leery, as I'm sure most of you are/were, simply because I imagined the worst--a thin, hard, pokey mattress made of cheap materials. I was so, so wrong to worry! Yes, this mattress is 8" thick. But within the 8" is a dense mixture of springs, padding, and pillow-top. It's not much to look at but when you feel it and lay or sit on it, you can tell this thing has support! I would describe it as relatively firm, with a soft top. I love the springiness, and it feels awesome on my back, which has a tendency to ache on bad mattresses. Basically, if you are looking for an inexpensive, quality mattress, this is it! Great support and soft comfort in a deceptively unassuming mattress. Oh yeah, and the packaging is so fun. All rolled up and it hisses as it expands before your eyes! Watching it turn into a bed was almost worth the money alone!! :)

I needed a supportive bed that we could both sleep on. I also wanted a flippable mattress because the non-flippable are expensive and worthless at the same time. My expensive pillow top bed lasted only 5 years and the pillowtop wore out and cratered. We tried rotating it but it was a joke. This mattress is very supportive yet feels soft on top so my pressure points don't ache. Its coils are individually wrapped so there is very little to none motion transfer. It feels really good to sleep on and so far we are both very happy with it. My husband likes a harder bed and I like softness and this somehow meets both our needs. I've ordered a 2 inch latex topper as I feel the need for a little extra softness as I'm a side sleeper but the price of this bed makes a quality topper very affordable. The width of the bed is nice too as its now easier to get in and out of bed. The bed inflated really well and is the correct size, king. There was a little off-gassing that lasted only a couple of nights and wasn't too unpleasant then it was gone altogether. I feel really good about this purchase. It is the same price here as on Amazon but I decided to get it here as it would be easier to return if I didn't like it so it was worth the peace of mind to pay the tax. Shipping was free, right to my door. My husband and I had no problem unwrapping it on top of our box spring. This bed is an excellent buy in every respect and I'm thankful to the manufactured for showing common sense in both quality and fulfilling a need that has been lacking since non-flippable mattresses came along and ripped everybody off.
