Controlling manually without the app takes a little getting used to. Super bright. Durable, heavy construction. Bluetooth remains connected when within range and intuitive enough to reconnect when returning from out of range, even when the light is off.

My new favorite electronic. I took this on a trip to the Boundary Waters in Northern Minnesota to be my source of light and phone battery charger. (used phone for camera due to no service up there) This thing was AWESOME! It became the light for the full campsite, tent, and just for fun. It ran the light for the whole week and charged my phone 1 and 3/4 times. It still had 40% battery at the end of the trip as well! I use it at home to set small rooms in a cool light with the color changing option. The Bluetooth app works just as well with setting colors and finding it when it is lost!
