Tent cloth is too small and rope is not strong

Fast delivery from Walmart and packaging is fine. The tent cloth is too small that will not fit the metal structure. Eventually I have to cut the poles 2” shorter on each side in order for the tent cloth to tuck on to the top of the structure. It will not stay by itself unless you can tighten with a few more ropes to fix the location. It says on the instructions that no overnight staying up; however I leave it outside for a couple of days and seems fine to stand with a little breeze. I have bought 3/8” ropes to replace the original 1/4 nylon strings that is easily burnt in hot days. 1”-1.5” poles seems sturdy enough for $80 tent. I have no complaint to such a great deal in money savings. Cannot compare it with the heavy duty carport which has 2” poles but the price is also tripled. I think it's good for using one season to leave it outdoor for sunshade until the rain comes.
