No waiting for light. Pull the chain and presto,
It was easy to write pros for this lighting, because it is the opposite of what annoys me about our fluorescent lights: we have a tack room that is very dark. The pullcord is so short on those that we had to tie others on it. Or jump for it. Then you have to go through all of the flickering and humming waiting for light. Never sure if it's as bright as it's going to get. Noisy. These lights are the exact opposite. Pros: -never left in the dark waiting for the light to come on -rated as “daylight” -everything is included for installation -can connect up to 4 in sequence -good instructions -19.4” pull chain -quiet -American made -energy efficient -Life span of 50,000 hours! We plan to buy more for our barn, to start seedlings, in a grooming area for our goats. I didn't come up with any cons.
Extremely lightweight and safe!
These (SUNCO 2PK Shop Light (Frosted) LED 40W (120W) 4500 Lumens (5000K - Daylight) are simple to install and work great! I ended up installing both of them downstairs in my basement, and the difference is amazing. Now I can see much more clearly whenever I'm working downstairs or just searching for something I misplaced. LED technology, although its been around for many years, is personally something I really prefer whenever replacing lighting fixtures or adding to them. When you think about, these last for 50,000 hours, so what that equates to is this; if you were to use them for eight hours per day at seven days per week, they should last for seventeen years. That of course does depend on other qualifying factors such as their environment, is it damp, severely cold or hot temperature fluctuations etc. Its always wonderful to buy AMERICAN too. If you're looking for a great quality shop-light, in my opinion it doesn't get much better than this pair. The one aspect of these particular products years ago that none of us enjoyed, was that annoying flicker. Sunco has adapted an “instant on” feature so flickering is eliminated, and there's no humming too! Some highlights: 5-year warranty Reduces energy costs Mercury free product Easy to install UL seal on box Great price Extremely lightweight Plastic tube lights – no glass and much safer Sunco Lighting customer service: 1-844-334-9938 Walmart by the way, in my opinion, is much better than that other place that charges a membership fee, just to ship within 2 days (their priming only revenue). Walmart ships within 2 days, and with no membership charges! I order online from Walmart all the time, so much nicer than standing in lines and loading-up carts.
I can see again!
I can see again! I replaced my old fluorescent lighting fixture in my outdoor work shed with this new and improved LED lighting. What an unbelievable difference it made. This light is super bright and just what I need. Installation was very simple as there is plenty of room to install this ever how you see fit. This is a very light unit and you don't have to worry about the bulbs being so sensitive to touch and Accidentally bumping something against it. I've taken a new interest in the once darkish building. I am now ready to take everything out, throw away what I don't need and turning this into a workshop that I can be productive in. It's really hard to explain how really bright and white this light is. I'm planning on changing my entire house out now with daylight LED bulbs. I would highly recommend this to anyone thinking about changing to LED lighting as this is insistent on and you don't have to listen to that ballast humming sound or flickering.
