- MT Solid Matte Washi Paper Masking Tape (genuine MT Kamoi Kakoshi and produced in Japan) is water-resistant masking tape made from Japanese rice paper. These matte or "flat" tapes add pigmented color without any satin or shine.
- The primary difference between standard crepe paper masking tape and genuine mt Washi Tape is that washi tape is not as thick as most crepe paper masking tapes. This assures conformability to shapes, works better on corners and leaves a finer line on projects.
- MT Washi tape is semi-transparent so it can be layered for better effect especially in crafting applications. It is also easy to write on so it’s ideal for making notes or messages, can be torn by hand, is easy to re-position and can be used on paper, objects, and walls.
- Please note these rolls come on non-standard 1-1/8 inch diameter cores so they would not fit correctly in a tape dispenser designed to accept 1-inch diameter cores. Can use an MT Twins Washi Nano Tape Cutter Dispenser.

Ideal for adding colorful details to your bullet journal, notebooks, and craft projects.
MT is the original brand of washi paper masking tape, created by the 100 year old company Kamoi Kakoshi and produced in Japan. MT is ideal for temporary decoration, for tiny objects to entire rooms, and for ordinary or special occasions, from sealing a lunch bag to making a special gift wrap.
