I had a medical supply company deliver a bedside commode. After using it just a few times, I was very frightened that it was going to tip or actually collapse! Also, I am not a very large person, but I barely had room to fit in between the arms of the commode. So, I saw this great sturdy looking commode offered from Walmart and decided I wanted to buy it due to all of the great features it offered. It also has two arms, but they are moveable, which makes one more comfortable, makes it very easy to slide onto from your bed, and provide hand holds to help to use it. It is very sturdy and very comfortable! The catch basin is nice and large, and it has a handle and lid. There is also a lid to cover the entire top. It also has a holder for paper or other items. The assembly was quite simple and easy and came with everything one needed for assembly. It came with liners, but 4 gallon waste bags fit it perfectly, as well. When my occupational therapist saw it, he thought it was fantastic! I am very pleased with it! I certainly recommend it!

i bought this for my 93 yr old mother .. its sturdy enough because i help her on and off it. id worry about her using it herself. i feel it could be bumped over more easily than her metal framed one. the seat is very wide and wont pinch because everything is more flush. the materials are good. it does say no assembly needed except for arms but thats not right. i attached pics. im not thrilled with the leg assembly. they wernt easy to line up. i feel that most people will need the height at its highest. the lady in the picture shows no hight on legs is pretty much on the floor. the lid cover folds away nice but if you just leave it unbent standing up it falls down fast.. it advertised goes down slow. thats wrong. i believe the weight limits are correct. if your a wider person you can lift the arms for more room. the bucket is deeper compared to her rehab issued potty chair. this way your not touching anything when wiping. i included a pic of the assembly sheet and how the parts arrived. it also came with plastc bags , a mini scrub brush and felt type sticky things im not sure where they go yet lol i think its good for the price ..
