Seems to work pretty well. Right now, it lights up pretty well, of course not totally. I have other lights above it so it lights up well at night, where you can see it all, and know what it is. Lighting is really sufficient, but could be better. It's big enough to light up the 1/3 of my house that needed something (24'). It is 12' long, but lights up well
