Follow the instructions and you will be fine.

Excellent supplement if your are deficient on iron. Very strongly recommend following the instructions about eating a substantial meal with 8oz of liquid prior to using this supplement. I had a light breakfast and the 8oz of liquid and I did experience an upset stomach. The next day I ate a bigger breakfast and did fine.

Heme iron is worth the premium

Using the heme iron supplements has been really helpful since they can be taken without dietary restrictions. Trying to use the non-heme supplement made scheduling meals and athletic activities challenging given the constraints both put on absorption.

"Heme" Iron specifically recommended

Large clear capsules, filled, and very clean in the bottle (no broken caps, residue, etc). I take one daily with a meal and have no stomach upset. Heme iron (specifically), was recommended by my Nephrologist when labs showed I was low on iron. I was able to bring that back into normal range with this heme iron. Since I have had great results with Proferrin, I will continue to take this brand daily and recommend it. The downside, price is high. Thank you
