Great Little Food Jars!

I was a bit disappointed when I received them, both had lid damage. It's cosmetic though and the lids still close and make a good seal. I filled one with ice and water and the other with hot water. Even though the ice was gone the water was ice cold after 4 hours. I was pleasantly surprised. The other I put boiled water in, like you would do if it was soup. After 4 hours it was still very hot, hot enough that if it was soup you would still enjoy eating it. If you take a lunch to work these would be exactly what you need. They are nice to look at and they look easy to clean. They have a wide mouth, perfect for eating a hot lunch out of.

Insulated Food Storage

I really like the Mainstays Insulated Food Storage containers. They are double walled and keep food or drinks cold for hours. They also have a no leak vacuum seal lid which is a plus. I like the stainless steel look. It makes them modern looking and they fit in with my other kitchen products. Also great for home use or for on the go.

Lunches on the go is a snap!

I pack my lunch 5 days a week and it gets old quick. With these Insulated Food Storage Jars I can now have a more varied lunch. I have used them for cold and hot lunches. The instructions stated need to be followed: if you are putting in cold items, prechill the container. I usually put in some ice with water and let it sit 10 minutes. If it is hot items, I put hot water in the container and let it sit 10 minutes. The containers keep my lunch just the way I put it in there. They are handwash and have not dented or scratched. The compact size lets them fit into my cooler nicely.
