It works well.

While only 42 feet agl my reception was Much better over a J-pole at 24 feet. The signal was clearer with less noise as well. The receivers indicated more bars and a much improved clarity of voice. The antenna was a bit of a challenge to assemble due to pitiful instructions. I was overly cautious not to damage it. I would recommend the antenna due to a very good value of construction, price point and quality of reception. Untuned the SWR was 1.39 at 146.460 and 1.28 at 433.700 .
