Armstrong SKI-Trac PC Winter 195/55R16 87H Passenger Tire

Never knew the wonders of snow tires... I have a 1/4 mile driveway, mostly uphill at close to a standard roof pitch (every 12 inches horizontal, there is a 4 inch drop). With 2 inches of snow, and slick packed snow underneath, I can stop and continue uphill. Don't sound too exciting? With brand new all-season tires (fairly aggressive tread) - I need to begin the hill at 40 mph and hope I don't stop halfway up... Amazing traction, not loud on the highway, smooth riding. I love my cheap tires!

I purchased these as I was looking for studless snow tires for my girlfriend's Nissan Versa. Last year she ran all seasons and had a tough time getting around in the snow. I cannot say how well these tires will do as we have yet to have snow on the roads, however they do have a more aggressive tread pattern similar to blizzacks and other winter tires I have used on vehicles in the past with good results. They are a little noisy compared to all seasons but that was expected. We've put about three hundred miles on them and they handle well on dry roads and in the rain. I have confidence they will perform well in the snow.
