All wool rugs shed. Shedding will decline over time. Periodic professional cleaning is recommended. Initial creasing is normal, and the creases will fall out within a few days; we advise reversing rolling the rug pile side out and leaving in a warm area to aid in the removal of crease. Initial shedding is normal and will decline over time. Use of a rug pad recommended.
