When I received this in the mail, I thought it was gonna be too small for husband. When I opened the package, it turned out to be a great travel kit. He can keep this in his truck or grooming bag. The black color is a matte black and looks expensive. It's not flimsy at all and is sealed extra tight and will not accidentally open. Shipping took longer than expected but, well worth the wait.

Size is good for travel, may be a problem for persons with big hands because the clippers are small. The person whom this was purchased for had difficulty using nail clippers because of their size. So now it's mine and it works well for me.

Won't clasp shut

The pieces all look nice and work nice. The bummer is that it didn't close at all. Not even when I pulled it out of the package it wasnt close and it will not clasp shut. As this is part of a Xmas gift, it's a real big bummer.
