KitchenAid KSBC56D 56-oz Dual Wall Blender Jar for Commercial® Blenders

I have used this Ice Cream chrn for years. I purchased it almost 10yrs ago and it is still going strong. During the recent COVID lockdown and I have used it almost every 2nd-3rd day. I have used this device to motivated my two young boys (7&9) to get them excited about cooking and the concept of creating flavours. The rule in our house now is that we have ice cream if you can come up with a new flavour or explain why one of the previous flavours was better than the last, and what you would like to try in the future. We have made swirls, chips, sorbet, chunks ... you name it. The personal favourite for my youngest was Mint Choc Chip, made by infusing real mint leaves into the custard (you would be amazed the difference it makes). He was shocked that mint came from leaves. I have read a few of the reviews and surprised by the feedback. I was quite impressed by the design of the string loaded churn, esp when somebody accidently dropped a sppon into the churn. Some comments/suggestions I would give to KitchenAid is that the bowl is a LEFT HAND THREAD - mention this in the manual. I'm quite strong and I would say the first time I used it I nearly broke it trying to remove it. I wouldn't hesitate to recomend to a friend, and indeed have leant this to many in my quest to bring more cooking into the home.
