Jo Malone Basil & Neroli Cologne Spray 100ml/3.4oz

I was so very lucky to be sent a bottle of this and, although it is nothing like my usual fragrances (spicy, woody, cologne intense), I absolutely love it! I don't normally choose strong floral notes but one of the few exceptions is neroli. I've always been disappointed because I feel the Orange Blossom cologne doesn't deliver the true, heady, intoxicating scent of orange blossoms/neroli - but this one does! Perfectly balanced with warming herbal peppery basil and clean citrus and powdery notes too. To me, the other notes melt into the background to compliment and enhance the neroli. The basil isn't too aniseedy or overwhelming and the citrus picks out the top notes in the neroli. All in all, a beautifully balanced strong clean neroli fragrance. Over time, the cologne settles into a more powdery scent, which sadly isn't my thing - but then that's more excuse to keep applying it. If you love fresh zesty florals, neroli and powdery scents - definitely treat yourself to a bottle.

I was lucky enough to get sent a sample bottle of this cologne, to my complete surprise Wow ! How wonderful was that. This is a gorgeously fresh & lively fragrance, fun playful & adventurous. A perfect balance of the two main ingredients ( Basil & Neroli ) I find that the longer it stays on my skin - the fresher it gets, love it . Absolutely Stunning.
