Broke after 3 years

Couch wasn't flush after install. After 3 years, the couch's power system broke and it no longer reclines. I don't know what happened as the couch has always even plugged into a surge protector and never moved. The power brick flashes now when plugged in but when I disconnect it from the couch the light turns to a solid color, indicating there must be an internal wiring issue.
