Aurelia's Fountain (Paperback)

Exploring that evanescent line between visions of divinity and those of insanity, Aurelia's Fountain begins when Margana's childhood friend from Quincy sends her a letter out of the blue asking if she can visit. Knowing of Aurelia's recent breakdown, Margana hesitantly agrees to host her friend's visit to the city.Upon arrival, Aurelia appears to have recovered from her epileptic visions and obsessions with insect morphology, Gothic cathedrals, and Greek-mythological fountains. Then suddenly, Aurelia has a recurrence and disappears for several days. When she returns, Margana is astonished to learn that Aurelia believes she has uncovered a gateway to heaven through the architecture of one of the city's cathedrals.
