To be honest, this is my second Gotham Steel Electric Smokeless Grill and I cannot tell you how much this electric grill saved me time and money. First of all, I enjoy grilling especially inside the house. With the Gotham Steel Electric Smokeless Grill, I do not have to worry about starting a fire for the charcoal or worry about having enough propane gas for the gas grill. The Gotham Steel Electric Smokeless Grill solved all that problem. The Gotham Steel Electric Smokeless Grill is really smokeless so you do not have to worry about inhaling harmful smoke. And instead of smoke, what you smell is the aroma of the grilled food. Second, the Gotham Steel Electric Smokeless Grill is electric and it heats up seconds. You do not have to wait long to grill your food. This is a great grill for all people on the go – fast and convenient. With the variable temperature control, you do not have to worry about burning, charring, or drying out your food. Unlike conventional charcoal and gas drill, you have to constantly move your food to avoid burning. The Gotham Steel Electric Smokeless Grill is perfection at its finest. Finally, the Ti-Cerama feature of this electric grill is something to be admired. Just like what they claimed on the infomercial, there is nothing sticking to this grill. You can grill steak, chicken, fish, and vegetables and nothing will stick to it. I put marinade, barbeque sauce, cheese, and even honey and nothing stick to the T-Cerama grill. Now you know that cleaning will be snap. However, from my last experience on the Gotham Steel Electric Smokeless Grill, please do not leave the Ti-Cerama grill dirty. I made a mistake of grilling food with marinade and sauce and then left the Ti-Cerama grill dirty for a week without cleaning it. As good as the Ti-Cerama non-stick grill goes, it still took me a long time to clean the grill scraping and buffing the burnt food off. It is best to clean the grill as soon as possible when you are done grilling. You can wash off the drip pan and the Ti-Cerama grill in the sink using dishwashing liquid and sponge or put them in the dishwasher. The drip pan and Ti-Cerama are dishwasher safe. So there is really no excuse why you cannot clean the grill after cooking. Lesson learned. Overall, the Gotham Steel Electric Smokeless Grill will save you time and money. Ever since I got a Gotham Steel Electric Smokeless Grill, I do not have to buy charcoal or propane gas. That's one less expense and one less step to do. Whenever I'm ready to grill, I have my food out and the Gotham Steel Electric Smokeless Grill is ready to go. And since there is really no more “grilling season” or waiting for good weather, the Gotham Steel Electric Smokeless Grill will always be there ready to go. I was a little wary on the indoor smokeless grills. But, this one actually worked. I used dry spices on the chicken breast and sprayed a little oil on the grill surface itself. Do wash the grill before use, I did and still got a little odd smell, but this was also stated in the instructions that a little smoke and or odor might be noticed. The control unit does require a firm push to seat it, and it will click once seated. Allow ample time for it to cool before trying to remove it. Pour about a half of cup of water in the pan and set the temperature control and start cooking after a 5 minute warm up. I cook the chicken for the time in the book, but had to slice in into smaller pieces and cook till done, but my chicken breast were thick. I did not get any smoke in the house and the food turned out well, as shown in the pictures. Be careful of oil based marinades, that could cause an issue with smoking from the grill.
