Amazing!

I bought these shoes for the wide toe box and minimal cushioning. I have foot pain due to tight fitting shoes (I have a wide toe box & narrow heels) and these shoes fit my feet beautifully. I wear them on day hikes, trail runs, and recently wore them on a 2 day backpacking trip and they held up well. I totally recommend these shoes. Just a warning; due to the minimal cushioning in the heel they encourage more of a forefoot strike for running so if you have not transitioned to a FFS from RFS (rearfoot strike) yet you may need to do some looking into that before wearing these shoes to run in. But these are super comfortable and durable.

Light and nimble!

I wore these hiking on a steep rocky trail and also side sloping along a hill in search of blueberries. They feel like slippers with traction! I had to snug them up a bit going downhill but loved how light they felt and low to the ground. I love my Timps for cushion but these are going to be a lot of fun!

10/10 recommend

Did a light trail with a pretty slow incline, very rocky, in SoCal and these shoes did the trick! I have a bad hip and back and felt no fatigue in my legs/hip whatsoever. The stride feels incredibly natural thanks to the low cushion and ample room in the toe box. I will say, I'll probably try a half size bigger (I'm a 7 usually, going to try a 7.5). My big toes touched the front of the shoe more than I'm comfortable with when going downhill. I'm more than satisfied with this shoe!
