Endive Seeds - Tres Fine. Cichorium endivia. 40 to 70 days to maturity. Heirloom, Non-GMO. Annual. Tres Fine endive plants are fast growing and do the best in the spring or fall, when the weather is cooler. Plants grow 8-12” tall and produce thin curled yellow-green leaves. Plant seeds directly outside ¼” deep in fertile soil, and thin them after a few weeks to be 6-8” apart. Baby greens can be harvested when they reach the desired size, and full leaves should be harvested later on. Cut the head 1” away from the base to harvest. These greens have a satisfying bitter taste and are great for salads. Roughly 11,200 seeds / ounce.
