The HydroShield Gutter Guard is a premium raised long diamond pattern gutter guard that prevents your home's gutters from becoming clogged with debris and leaves. Unprotected gutters increase the risk of injury, insect infestations, and unexpected expenses. The patented design of the HydroShield Gutter Guard blocks debris from getting into your gutters while allowing water to flow through easily. Blocking debris from entering the gutters prevents water from getting trapped, which reduces the likelihood of obstruction. This gutter guard provides all-season gutter protection to prevent freezing water and ice damming during winter. The HydroShield Gutter Guard is available in 5 and 6 inches Flex-Fit or Snap-Fit options. All HydroShield Gutter Guards have different sizes of screen areas. For the Flex Fit options, the 5-inch has a screen size area of 4 3/8 inches and the 6-inch has a screen size area of 5 1/2 inches. The 5-inch Snap Fit option has a screen size area of 2 7/8 inches and the 6-inch option has a screen size area of 3 7/8 inches. Flex-Fit options are 7/8 inch wider to accommodate the extra length needed to install under the roof. The mesh difference is that the Flex Fit needs more area as it goes under the shingle. The water performance is the exact same for the Flex and Snap profiles, as it will take on any amount you give it, leaving you PROTECTED BY THE SHIELD. New Material Hydroshield has listened to customers who had difficulty cutting through the aluminum gutter guards and have changed the material. The Snap Fit Gutter Guards are now made with PVC to make it easier to cut to your preferred size. The new PVC gutter guards are sonically welded and have no adhesives.
