Since his DG debut AYRE, Osvaldo Golijov has established himself as one of today's most celebrated composers. Both AYRE and his opera and second DG release, release, AINADAMAR, received rave reviews from audiences and international press. His third album again features his muse, the soprano Dawn Upshaw in THREE SONGS, beautifully interpreted pieces evoking Strauss. OCEANA is the key work of this album, a composition for orchestra, three guitars, harp and voice, filled with Latin and jazz sounds.
