Delivers as advertised

We bought this unit for maintaining an RV cool so we wouldn't need to run the large installed unit as much. Our hope was to cool down the RV (a 25 foot coach) with the main unit and use the portable one to keep it cool for 30-60 minutes. The Zero Breeze delivers as advertised. It has an efficient compressor and consumes only 250W. It certainly blows nice cold air. Unfortunately for us, it simply did not have the capacity to keep the RV cool for even the short time we had hoped. If Zero Breeze makes a larger unit, I would be interested to buy it. For this model, I'd recommend it for a suitably small space.

Great for a small space with no power

I am using this for a small 8 x 10 chicken coop. Extreme heat is very dangerous for these guys. This has made a huge difference on hot days.

Desperately wanting to like the Mark2 Zerobreeze

Likes- This unit as advertised is very portable , nice aesthetics and streamlined design making placement and positioning LESS challenging . Dislikes- I mentioned LESS challenging in terms of placement and positioning, because it could still pose quite a bit of challenge on how and where to position it to where you can maximize its cooling efficiency. The exhaust hoses adds to this problem because it crowds out your space ( SUV, Van, truck sleeping cab ( unless if you are in a ground tent or RTT where there's more of a space ). Last and certainly not least of my dislikes, Mark 2 Zero Breeze, w its 2,300BTU's cooling is just not enough cool your tiny space when you're dealing with ambient temperatures from the mid 90's to triple digit temps . I've tested it inside my Toyota Sequoia with outside temps in the 94- 100F range . The most this unit could do to lower the temp was in the high 70's to 80's . So if your inside that closed space, windows closed (to try to keep hot air out and don't get any sort of breeze), ambient temps that high will be too much for this unit. The only work around I can see is if you're using it in daytime, stay under a shade or maybe use a portable fan and crack the windows a bit, use the fan and this AC together to create some sort of breeze. Another is to use it in the evening to nighttime to give Mark2 breeze a fighting chance
