Was good before now horrible

The grizzly grass had multiple thinning spots throughout it where you could see the cement I placed it over. When I lifted it and looked from the back against the light, the thin areas were visible all through the rugs. I had ordered it last year and it was good, but now, I don't know what happened (maybe end of the roll?) it is a hassle to pack it back into its box and return it.
