This is the ONLY Dark Syrup to use when making a traditional Pecan Pie. It has been used historically and ALWAYS produces a FANTASTIC pecan pie. The recipe for the pie is included on the jar and is a NEVER fail recipe. Only challenge when making the pecan pie is the time for baking.

Karo the old fashioned pancake syrup.
Years ago in 1947 when I was a baby they put this syrup in the baby formula women made as they didn't have ready made formula. Not saying that was good but that's what they did. I used it on pancakes and waffles for years but with age I had to switch to sugar free pancake syrup. It's very sweet but I loved it, now my daughter uses it.
