I've only had this camera for a couple of weeks so haven't used too much so far. It was easy to set up. The picture quality seems excellent. It's very easy to switch from still photos to video. The videos seems clear with good voice quality. I have used Nikon Coolpix cameras before and expect this one will be equally good for a modestly priced model.

This Nikon was the perfect little camera we needed. It takes clear pics, really nice shots, as good as the picture taker anyway. It is compact and very cute, and I LOVE the blue color. We are not professional photographers, we just needed a nice small, compact camera to be able to take with us, grab and take some quick shots. This is it. I have had a few COOLPIX cameras, have loved them all. Fits pretty much anywhere, nice and light. We like it a lot, fits just what we needed.

i have had many cameras from the brownie back in the late fifty's but the ones i have had from the 1990's until now they were OK but a little complicated. this Nicon cool-pix S3600 is fast and easy to focus i even took a few pictures out the window of our moving car they came out great i just made sure i had the strap around my arm...
