If you're looking for the most bang for your buck, this is it. The tearing isn't perfect, but for the price, the quality and softness are an absolute steal. It holds up well and feels better than most budget toilet paper. There are only two people in my household, and this has been a great fit for us. I'd absolutely recommend putting it on a subscription and having it delivered automatically—it's reliable and cost-effective. For larger families with heavier usage, you may want something thicker, but for small households, this is a solid choice and hard to beat for the price.

I have found that with most of the current water saving toilets, 2-ply toilet paper along with "waste solids" has a tendency to not flush well. Using a 1-ply paper seems to be more forgiving, allows for a single flush and no plunging is required. As most know, the average 1-ply paper is like using 420 grit sandpaper to clean the affected area. I chose the Charmin Essentials (strong) 1-ply because it "gets the job done" without sacrificing softness.
