Easy,simple recalibration

I bought this kit after doing a 700r4 conversion in my 1980 jeep CJ with an amc 360. Being geared with 4.88's the benefits of the overdrive for highway speeds was very beneficial. But my shift points were very low and had stacked shifts. After the install of the recalibration kit, which was extremely easy, my shift points have greatly improved and kept the motor in its power band. Couldn't be happier.

The instructions are a bit of a farce

And their customer service is worse. I swapped my governor weights and springs around half dozen times with no success. If I got the WOT rpm shifts I wanted, 4th gear wouldn't engage till 60mph just cruising around. Their instructions didn't explain how the governor actually works. I tried contacting them, but their support rep told me to adjust my vacuum modulator. I have a 700r4, which doesn't even have one. I replied back couple of times with absolutely no follow-up response from them. However, I stumbled upon the picture below, which totally saved my bacon. Good luck on your project!
