The Stanley FatMax Safety Knife goes above and beyond when it comes to both safety and convenience. The auto-retracting blade retracts when contact with cutting surface is lost ? even if your thumb is still holding the slider forward ? and the quick blade change button can be pressed from either side of the knife, making it safer to use for both right- and left-handed people. The bi-material grip adds even more comfort and control. The FatMax accepts any standard utility blade, has blade storage in the handle, has a tape splitter at the base of the handle and even has a lanyard hang hole for easy tethering, transportation and storage.
