nothing beats home made, but who can count on a good avocado these days? This brand is far superior than any other premade guac. I am a onesy so I freeze what I can't eat in one sitting cuz you know guac likes to get brown in a day...the trick is to let it defrost naturally, tho I have been know to speed it up with a gentle warming in the microwave when a craving hits, lol

For a market-distributed tub of avocado-anything, this is pretty outstanding. For me it could be a bit spicier and chunkier, But for what it is? It gets a 5 rating. And I REEEALLY appreciate that the ingredients are just food and spices, not a bunch of chemicals (often called "preservatives.")

Great fresh avocado taste

We buy this frequently and use it in salads, and with other foods. It is fresh and has a very good shelf life. It is very convenient and easy storage. I recommend after opening to sprinkle lime/lemon juice over what is left, so it doesn't turn a darker color ( due to the lack of preservatives) leftovers of this product is usually not an issue in our home due to this product's great fresh taste and everyone seems most happy to scrap the container clean.
