This set of "Peacock" melamine dinnerware is a dream come true for those who enjoy creating attractive outdoor tablescapes. This particular set (I ordered 2 sets, which I picked up at an incredibly reasonable price) has paired beautifully with natural/neutral tones of jutes, woods and wovens, as well as a completely different motif using vibrant hues of blues and greens, crisp linens, bright silver napkin rings and sleek white accessories. I've even used them for a festive Mexican themed poolside birthday party using traditionally patterned linens (napkins called "green multi salsa", also sold by Walmart) and it looked fabulous. Additionally, they're very easy to care for. I prefer to wash them by hand, but they've survived the top rack of the dishwasher without any issue. Also, after many meals, they are unscratched and in perfect shape.
