Auntie Anne's Pretzel Dog 20oz/5 Count (Frozen)

I have always loved Auntie Anne's Pretzels so when I saw these pretzel dogs at Walmart I had to try them, even though tyey were a bit pricey for my budget! I loved them! delicious Auntie Anne's original pretzel taste and even though I don't care for beef hot dogs and don't buy them, Nathan's are good, just a bit too greasy. I bought these every week for a month, though i think the are overpriced at nearly $10 for 5 pretzel dogs. The fifth box I got were disappointing, nearly burnt! I thought just a one time thingbut 5 boxes later, still too well done. You have no choice but to heat them in the microwave rather than oven or air fryer or they get very hard! i just make them in the microwave and because the hot dog needs further cooking I slide it out of the pretzel and give it 2-3 minutes in the air fryer. I have written the company. no reply yet. If you like your pretzels well done to burnt you'll enjoy these. i still like them and, yes pay the price, I just wish they would adjust their ovens.

With these being already cooked, microwaving them for just a few seconds seems ideal. For myself and my family, it wasn't that great. After microwaving, the hotdog inside shrunk a lot and even fell out. The pretzel was softened maybe for 30 seconds but then became really hard. Tried in an air fryer and I wouldnt recommend trying it. Made it worse. Did wish there was salt to be added like a normal pretzel as well.
