The elastic area on the calf allows for some flexibility in the sizing since they didn't have the exact measurements of my short wide calves. They look great with my new ariat boots, that also accommodate my wide feet!

Incredibly comfortable out of the box. I wore these for 4+ hours in Africa without any break-in period. I tried on a lot of pairs of half chaps before deciding on these - LOVE. I do wish they were back-zip instead of side zip, but you can't have everything.
