What Motivates U.S. High School Students to Choose to Learn Chinese? (Paperback)

This study will contribute to our understanding of changes in popularity of world languages for U.S. high school students and what motivational factors may sustain or dampen their learning interests in Chinese. It will contribute to the maintenance of less commonly taught language programs, teacher training, instructional leadership and world language program development.
