Bigger regular BMs due to fiber good ingredients
I love my dog and choose his food carefully. I choose this for the lack of grains, the quality of ingredients, and the healthy fiber. My dog loves the food so much I also use the pieces as treats. When we use another brand his BMs are smaller. I feel the larger, healthy BMs are for his gut bacteria, risk of cancer and general digestion and health. I recommended this food to a friend who recently adopted a senior chihuahua who -- the poor thing -- had to strain and struggle to pass poop and often couldn't defecate for days!! When she could finally poop it was dark and very hard. The poor little thing must have been MISERABLE in addition to being unhealthy due to absorbing all those toxins in her bowels!!! I told my friend about this food. After she switched from Pedigree to this brand the little chihuahua began enjoying 1-3 regular, comfortable, not-painful BMs every day consistently. She is much happier!!! For a grocery store food, I think this is the best. I feel good about it.

Nature's Recipe Grain Free Easy to Digest Lamb, Sweet Potato, & Pumpkin Recipe Dry Dog Food, 4-Pound Bag I had a surprisingly bunch of fun evaluating Nature's Recipe Grain Free Easy to Digest Lamb, Sweet Potato, & Pumpkin Recipe Dry Dog Food. I was feeding my dog a different Nature's Recipe easy to digest formula a couple of years ago and I only stopped feeding him that food because it was not readily available in my area. The main benefit I have noticed from feeding him Nature's Recipe Grain Free Easy to Digest Dog Food is that my dog has a mild allergy to poultry products. They cause him skin problems and mild respiratory issues. Because I had just bought a bag of the other food I have been giving Snickers, I used this opportunity for a good old fashioned taste test. Not the blindfold kind, and I thought the placement of bowls could interfere with 1st choice style tests, so I just mixed the 2 foods together and I fed him the normal amount at the normal time in the normal way. Snickers jumped right in as dogs will do! What I found was Snickers chose to eat the Nature's Recipe Grain Free Easy to Digest Lamb, Sweet Potato, & Pumpkin Recipe Dry Dog Food pieces first and then he went back and ate the other food. His choice was quite evident. Having fed Snickers Nature's Recipe Grain Free Easy to Digest Lamb, Sweet Potato, & Pumpkin Recipe Dry Dog Food for about a week, I have noticed his skin condition that we have been battling a couple of months, began to clear. The hair that had been falling out in little patches, has begun to fill back in and I have not heard a single incident of the respiratory issue that had become almost ever-present. Nature's Recipe Grain Free Easy to Digest Lamb, Sweet Potato, & Pumpkin Recipe Dry Dog Food is now my Snickers' primary food! He is much more healthy which is making us both much more happy.
