GREAT LOOKING FAN AND WORKS WITH Apple HomeKit

This fan Works very well with Apple HomeKit. I did research for about 3 months and I finally ended up with Hunter Symphony. I wanted a black 3 blade fan, Apple Home Kit Enabled, with the option to install whatever light temperature lights I wanted (I like 5000k). After months of looking, this was the only fan that met my requirements. My wife wasn't to excited about the curved blades, but once it was installed, she loved it. I purchased 3 of them. After reading all the reviews on the web about this fan, the one negative thing that ALWAYS comes up is that everyone always has the problem of connecting it to HomeKit. My recommendation is to completely bypass the "Hunter SIMPLEconnect" app. Don't even download it. You don't need it. Just scan the Apple HomeKit code directly into HomeKit and you're done. If you have a problem connecting it, simply reset the fan and you are done. It works great.

This is a really nice fan.

The fan motor is super quiet. The blades when on high speed have a bit of an airplane sound to them, that our son loves. (He's training to be a pilot.) Installation was easy, especially since I was replacing a Hunter fan. Our son had to mess with the phone app a bit to get it to work, but once it was set up, it was easy to work.
