The positives on this blender: Glass jar (not plastic) Size/Capacity of the glass jar (8 cups, not 6 cups) So overall for our use it works for the most part. Price/value. Its a fair price, and about what we expected. Negative: The unit is only 700 watts of power. Be it for blending drinks with ice, or other foods, this is not exactly powerful.
