This, Sodium Percarbonate, is the active ingredient in the good powdered laundry soaps. It's the best booster you can buy for your laundry. (think Oxy clean but this is cheaper and more concentrated.) It 'activates' in HOT water. I put 2 tablespoons in a jar and add about 1/2 cup of boiling water and get it all dissolved, the key is to get it dissolved before you put it in the washer or it can gunk up your machine. It makes things lighter so don't use it on black clothes. If you have a bad stain, you can use a paintbrush and put it directly on the stain and use HOT water. I use dissolved citric acid in the rinse spot which is also great.
