if you replacing an old Devonshire shower beware

The valve or the cartridge is compatible with older models. ended up cutting pipes and reinstalling, not worth the hassle .. support is TOTALLY unaware of compatibility issues. Installing new is perfectly fine. costed me extra 2 hrs of plumbers time, fortunately we had space to work in the wall
