Gorgeous, quiet, easy to install

Gorgeous, timeless looking fan. Wuiet operation, balanced, puts out decent light too. We did hire an electrician to install only because the old fan was heavy as heck with a tall ceiling to deal with, plus it required a bit of rewiring in the existing gang box. But once they got the old one out, installed it in like 15 mins. There's a switch on the top that can adjust the rotation of the fan depending on if you want air drawn up or blown down. Weirdly, 0 = off, 1 = highest speed, 2, 3, 4 = progressively slower speeds. But not a huge deal. We purchased the matching download extension too.

Great fan

This is the second MinkaAire Aluma fan I have purchased. The first I purchased several years ago, without the LED light, and it is still going strong. One reason I purchased it this time is that it does not require 3 wires in order for the light to work - and I did not want to pay an electrician to run a 3rd wire. The fan is easy to install, easy to use, and very attractive.
