For the price, this is a great bed. Tons of little storage options. We put a 12 inch mattress on it and our kiddo loves it— even with mom and dad sleeping comfortably next to him for the first several nights until he got used to it. Would definitely purchase again.

This is completely worth the price. My daughter loves it. Do not pay for assembly though! They go through Angie's List which I thought would be great. The man came to put it together and left after 2 hours stating he had another job to get to and had to leave. Very unprofessional. The bed though is worth the cost!

Great value for the price

So this bed is very sturdy and just fantastic for storage. It does take a long time to assemble as there are tons of pieces, but I did it in two sessions. One night I assembled the bed with the headboard and bookcase footboard and then another time I assembled the drawers that go under it. This is for my 140 pound 13 year-old, and I can tell you she has had sleepovers with friends and shared that bed with one or two other girls and it holds up just fine. The only drawback I have is that the drawers Are very small. If you were expecting to not need a dresser in the room because you have these drawers, be aware that the drawers are probably only 4 inches tall on the inside, so they do not hold that much clothing.
