Leaving Cold Sassy: The Unfinished Sequel to Cold Sassy Tree, (Paperback)

A must for those who read and loved Cold Sassy Tree. Even though she was literally on her deathbed and knew she would never be able to finish the sequel, Olive Burns left us a final gift by ensuring that at least we would know what happened to the characters. Such a remarkable lady! It's sad to think of all the great stories she had to tell us that we will never hear. While this book is unfinished and much is in draft form, the fact that this great lady made certain that we could visit Cold Sassy one last time and look in on Will Tweedy, Lightfoot McClintock, and the rest of the town. Like Olive Burns, they had great stories left to tell.
