This is beautiful!!! The instructions are all in pictures but very easy to follow, it will be helpful if you look at pages ahead so you get an idea of how parts are connected. You will need at least 3-4 people to help during certain periods of this. Take your time to do this, you don't want leaks. Lay out the pieces/screws because it goes together like a jigsaw puzzle. Several ladders will be needed. The kit comes with a tool to tighten, but a wrench and Phillip-head screwdriver will come in handy as well. We bolted this down to our deck, it comes with spikes to secure it to a yard. The engineering of this gazebo will amaze you. When you get frustrated, stop and clear your mind, come back to it later and it will all come together. You will not regret this purchase. In total took us about 12 hrs to complete. Stunning!!
