Star League Command Lance Review.

It was a very nice lance. The mechs look good, and the paint job Aleksandr Kerensky's Orion comes with is flawless. The character cards have some cool characters on them. And they do a lot of damage in Alpha Strike. Overall, a very good set, a little expensive, but I suppose they all are.

The Good / The Bad

The Good: The description mentions it, but the picture does not show the prepainted Orion. It's a heck of a nice job, done as Aleksandr Kerensky's personal mech. The Alpha Strike pilot cards cover 9 pilots on 7 cards. The mech cards give 2 versions of each mech. The Bad: The Orion and Atlas II cards are pilot specific, with the PVs (point values) taking into account the pilot skill. Those skills are already on the pilot cards and really shouldn't be on the mech cards. I don't use pilots, so I'd have preferred generic mech cards. Otherwise, this a great set.
