Hawthorne Collections Convertible Sofa in Black

The box arrived earlier than expected, which was perfect for me. However, one of the metal holder at the back of the couch was bent and I had to re-bent it properly with a vise-grip plier, though that means it is more fragile now. It's not a super important part of the whole thing in the sense that it doesn't hold most of the weight of the back rest, so I didn't bother contacting the compagny. I also wasn't feeling the idea of having to get the couch later, again, because of this issue. The couch itself is fine. I was happy to have something that can open up for me to lay down and read or take a nap, but wasn't super expensive. I'm happy to have something futon-adjacent, but with armrest has it greatly improved my back pain and posture. It's sturdy, not too soft (too much softness is not good for my back anyway). Hopefully, it won't sag too much in the next few years as this is an issue I had with my previous couch (resulting in, yes, back pain yet again). That being said, what I think is important to understand: it's not the most comfortable ever, it could have more padding just about everywhere; the back cushions look like they will need to be floofed up regularly, as I feel they get flattened pretty quickly (I do spend a lot of time on my couche lately however - more than usual); the lenght of the sitting area isn't super deep, which sometimes I enjoy, other time I'm a bit disappointed by it (I might get something like an ottoman to help with that however). Still super happy with my couch though, better than my previous one and my cat also like it a lot.
