We challenged locksmiths at the Associated Locksmiths of America (ALOA) to a picking and bumping contest pitted against the Kwikset SmartKey 980 Deadbolt. While re-keying your door lock is not a requirement of lock installation, SmartKey allows you to quickly and easily reset your lock's cylinder to work with any KW1 Keyway key.

Heavy Duty and Functional

It accentuated my door perfectly, and is definitely an added statement piece. The handle operates perfectly and with ease. It looks great and it's reasonably priced. Sleek and timeless design

Upscale look without a complicated setup
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ThisKwikset handleset front door lockset was surprisingly easy to install and instantly upgraded the look of my front door. The design has a very upscale, high-end appearance that makes the entryway feel more polished and expensive without the premium price tag. The finish and overall construction also look very well made and durable. I actually appreciate that this model skips the smart keypad features and keeps things simple and reliable. Sometimes a classic lockset is exactly what you want, and this one delivers both style and quality. Overall, it's a great option if you want something elegant, sturdy, and straightforward.
