Lay's Kettle Cooked Potato Chips New York Style Pizza, 8 oz Bag

Fifteen or twenty years ago, there was a chip that was marketed as tasting like pizza. I cannot remember the name but I think it had pizza in it. If anyone out there remembers those, you have a good idea of what these Lay's chips tatste like. I get the pizza taste. You definitely get the notes of the spices and tomato sauce. I think the kettle cooked chip was a good choice because it gives you the crispsiness of eating a thin crust pizza. It wasn't my favorite flavor chip. I don't know that I would buy it again, but I feel it was successful in tasting somewhat similar to a pizza. I also think if you were eating something really cheesy, it might be a good compiment.
