Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Color, True Beauty Comes from Within 0.5 fl oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shade is pretty, but pretty standard and not something I haven’t seen before. Just a metallic purple with holographic glitter. I also didn’t receive a base or top coat, so I can’t say for sure how much better this performs compared to regular nail polish. I am very aware how important a good top coat is, but I tried this without one first. I liked the brush size and shape and it made it easier to apply on my shorter nails, and it felt thicker than normal nail polish but that might be because it required 4 coats to be opaque. As far as wearability, this still chipped as quick as any other polish for me. But again, I didn’t receive a base or top coat.

Purple and sparkly? That’s already a win in my book! I picked up the Sally Hansen gel top coat so I could get the full effect. I’m pretty rough on my nails, but so far so good! I’d say that the staying-power is superior to other polishes I’ve tried. The only downside is that I wish it dried faster. I can’t stay still long enough for it not to smudge! Haha. Overall this is definitely a win!
