The Darker the Skies

The Darker the Skies is the second installment from the Earth United series by Bryan Prosek. I had the pleasure of reading book one of the series, The Brighter the Stars and was excited to have the opportunity to read this one. I was not disappointed. Since this is part of a series, it would be best to start with the first book to get a better idea as to what is going on in the current plot. It was great catching up with Jake and his friends to find out the adventure that awaits this time around. I thought it was entertaining to go along the story to see what was in store for him. The tale was fast paced and full of action that made me want to keep reading. I thought it was a great read that I could not put down and had no problem having the whole book read in just two evenings. I am giving The Darker the Skies will be getting five stars from me. Fans, including teens, of science fiction, young adult and fantasy will most definitely want to give it a read, as well as, the first installment from the Earth United series. I will on the lookout for most exciting books from Bryan Prosek to see where his imagination will take his readers to next. I received a paperback copy of The Darker the Skies from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
