These grippers have really stood the test of time. I'm actually using them to stabilize a free standing ballet barre with wheels to move it. It didn't tip but would slide despite having a mechanism to stabilize the wheels. These work beautifully and don't mark my floor. Based on my experience I'm sure they'd work equally well on a bed or other furniture.
